Molly Ackroyd

Company Owner

Molly has built her career in the leisure industry, specialising in leisure management within leisure centres and holiday parks. Over the years, she gained extensive experience in operations, training, recruitment, health and safety, and leading large teams. These transferable skills provided the perfect foundation for launching MW Training in 2022.

With a background in delivering regulated training courses and qualifications, Molly discovered a genuine passion for teaching. She is committed to creating engaging, interactive sessions that are not only enjoyable but also practical—ensuring candidates leave with the confidence and knowledge to apply their learning effectively in the workplace.

Julia Walsh

First Aid Lead

Julia is one of our Lead First Aid Instructors, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience from her 32-year career as a Chartered Physiotherapist. She has worked across a variety of clinical settings, including A&E, GP surgeries, outpatient departments, and also successfully ran her own outpatient and sports injury practice for many years.
After retiring from physiotherapy in 2023, Julia chose to apply her extensive anatomy and physiology expertise to a new role as a First Aid Instructor. Since then, she has delivered a wide range of courses, including Basic Life Support, First Aid at Work, and Paediatric First Aid. Her sessions are known for being engaging, practical, and highly informative.
Outside of training, Julia enjoys umpiring hockey, travelling whenever she can, listening to country music, and spending quality time with her family.

Kimberleigh Watson

RLSS Trainer Assessor

Kim is one of our trainer assessors delivering courses and assessments through the Royal Life Saving Society. Kim covers a number of areas from Open Water Lifeguard and Pool Lifeguard to Swimming Pool Emergency Rescue Awards. 

Joshua Manfredini

Internal Quality Verifier

Josh brings extensive experience from the sports and leisure industry. After completing his degree, he began his career working on cruise ships before returning to the UK to continue his progression in the sector. Working his way up through various roles, Josh most recently held positions as Sports and Leisure Manager at holiday parks in Cornwall.

At MW Training, Josh is responsible for internal quality assurance, ensuring that all trainers and assessors consistently deliver to the highest standards, regardless of the candidate, course, or awarding organisation.
